IBO Player: setup and compatibility guide
Identify your IBO Player edition, verify its publisher and portal, and separate device activation from your XIPTV playlist and subscription.
Check the exact IBO edition
IBO Player, IBO Pro and similarly named products should not be treated as one interchangeable application. The IBO Player App Store listing identifies ibrahim akoum and links to the operator. The operator FAQ warns about look-alike sites and explains that the player does not provide playlists.
Begin with the store listing or support link of the app actually installed on your device. Its displayed portal address is more useful than the first sponsored search result for activation. Do not assume a different IBO-branded site can manage your edition.
Check availability on your model
The platform website advertises several television, mobile and desktop platforms. Logos on a marketing page do not verify availability for every model and country. Open the app store on your own device and confirm its publisher, supported software version and installation route.
For Roku in particular, read the Roku guide instead of applying Android installation instructions. For LG and Samsung, use the television-specific app route and check the exact model.
Link your playlist using the app's instructions
- Open your installed app and identify its exact edition and publisher.
- Read the displayed setup instructions, including any device identifier, key and portal address.
- Verify that portal using the store listing or developer support link.
- Add only the playlist or account format XIPTV has supplied and the edition accepts.
- Reload the player as instructed and test a live stream and audio.
- Confirm both service playback and player-licence requirements before making a separate app purchase.
The device key can permit changes to your playlist configuration. Do not publish it or send it to someone offering unsolicited activation help. If you are unsure whether a page belongs to your app, stop before entering credentials.
Understand two separate activations
An IBO licence may activate the player interface. XIPTV activation provides the service account. Completing one does not automatically complete the other. Keep receipts and support conversations separate so a refund or billing question goes to the correct seller.
Troubleshoot the stage that fails
If the portal reports success but the television shows no playlist, check the device identifier and refresh instructions. If the playlist appears but video does not play, test another source and check account status and the connection allowance with XIPTV. If a licence warning appears, use the app developer's verified support channel rather than purchasing a second service account.
