Start with the operating system

Two televisions from the same brand may use different software. Before choosing an app, find the model number and operating system in the device settings. Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, Android TV, Fire OS and Roku OS need different installation paths.

Three checks before buying a player

  1. App availability: check the official store on the actual device and in your region.
  2. Account format: make sure the player accepts the M3U, Xtream or other connection details support supplies.
  3. Playback: test picture, sound and controls before paying for a longer service term or a separate app licence.
