Independent player guides

Choose the right IPTV player.

Understand third-party IPTV players, account formats and platform differences. Read setup guides for TiviMate, Smarters, XCIPTV, IBO and more.

Your player is separate from your subscription

An IPTV player is software that opens content from an account or playlist. It does not become an XIPTV product because you use it with our service. Download apps from the developer's official website or a verified store listing, and check the publisher before entering account details.

Each guide links to primary developer documentation or a store listing. App availability, subscription options and interface labels can change. A platform listed by a developer still needs to match your device model, region and app version.

Match the login format

Format Information you need Common mistake
M3U playlist The full playlist URL supplied for your account Removing a query parameter or exposing the URL publicly
Xtream-style login Server URL, username and password in separate fields Pasting the full M3U URL into the server field
XMLTV programme guide The EPG URL supplied separately or by your account Expecting a guide URL to play video
MAC / portal A supported portal and authorised device identifier Inventing or copying someone else's MAC address

Do not convert account formats by guessing server paths. Ask support which format is issued for your account. Our M3U and EPG explainer describes the differences.

Make a practical comparison

For a television, test remote-control navigation, channel switching and readability from the sofa. For a phone or tablet, consider touch controls and rotation. A powerful player with an awkward interface may be a poor fit for your everyday screen. Only purchase an app licence after checking that it solves your actual setup needs.
