TiviMate: setup and compatibility guide

Set up TiviMate on Android TV, choose the correct playlist type and check EPG, playback and separate player-licence requirements.

Check that TiviMate fits your device

TiviMate's official website describes a player intended for Android TV and says it is not optimised for phones or tablets. Use its Google Play or official download route. Do not assume native support for iPhone, Roku, Samsung Tizen or LG webOS.

On Fire TV, identify the operating system before following an Android installation route. A compatible Fire OS device and a Vega OS model are not interchangeable. The Firestick guide explains this check.

Prepare your playlist and guide

Have the account information supplied by XIPTV ready. The playlist method must match those details. If support provides a complete M3U URL, use that URL without shortening it. If your account supports a server-based login, enter its fields separately using the matching option in your installed version.

An EPG URL is a programme-guide source. It does not replace the playlist URL. Keep both private and confirm whether guide information should be discovered through your login or entered separately.

Add the playlist

  1. Open TiviMate and choose the option to add a playlist.
  2. Select the format supported by your account and app version.
  3. Enter the supplied values exactly, then let the app process the playlist.
  4. Give the playlist a recognisable name so it is easy to distinguish from other legitimate sources you use.
  5. Configure the provided guide source if needed, and allow its update to complete.
  6. Test a live channel, audio and navigation with your TV remote.

If the app shows a licence or premium-feature screen, review it as a player purchase. It does not indicate that XIPTV payment failed, and paying for it does not activate service access.

Organise the television experience

After confirming playback, create favourites and hide categories you do not need if your version permits those controls. Check guide text size from your normal viewing distance. Avoid changing many playback settings simply because a tutorial recommends one configuration for every device.

Recording, catch-up and other advanced functions depend on the app version, service support, storage and connection allowance. Do not assume they are included in your account merely because the interface displays an option.

Diagnose an incomplete guide or failed stream

If channels play but programme information is missing, treat the EPG separately. Verify its source and channel matching, then refresh it. If every stream fails, check account validity and concurrent sessions. If one channel fails, record that example before reinstalling the player.

Contact XIPTV with the device model, TiviMate version and exact symptom. For app billing or a player-specific account issue, use the developer's official support route.
